Addington Equipment Adds Feller-Buncher Attachments To Inventory
The owners of Addington Equipment, Inc. are pleased to announce the addition of small-scale feller-buncher attachments to their custom-built equipment line-up. These mini feller-buncher attachments are designed for use where a smaller-sized machine is ideal, such as when clearing private trails. All of Addington Equipment's attachments are ideal when maintaining the integrity of the land is most important and operators need full control of their operations.
A feller-buncher is a highly versatile type of harvester used in logging today because its attachment rapidly cuts and gathers several trees before felling them. Because of their effectiveness, Addington Equipment decided to develop an attachment that would work with the machines that both loggers and landscapers alike are turning to more and more. As with Addington Equipment’s other grapple attachments, these new feller-buncher attachments are made of formed steel construction throughout, precision machined pins and shafts, heavy wall tube reinforcing around heavily loaded pins, T-1 steel Tongs, and greasable pivot points.
Addington Equipment’s feller-buncher attachments add to the company's trusted line-up of hand-fabricated forestry and farming attachments, such as the grapple rakes for skid steers and tractors that have been on the market since 1997. The idea for the equipment began as a simple idea that grew with demand. The creator of the company, Thomas Addington, needed a machine to clear land on his property but was not satisfied with what was currently available, so he developed a prototype that got the job done, and then some. Since then, Addington Equipment has remained a family-run business selling its heavy, reliable products from coast to coast.
If you are looking for a new attachment for your fleet of small-scale land clearing machinery, consider buying American-made machines ordered “factory-direct” from Addington Equipment.
