TLA Executive Director, Dave Lewis, Resigns

It is with regret that the Truck Loggers Association (TLA) announces that Dave Lewis, our executive director since 2007, will be leaving the TLA this September to pursue other career opportunities. Dave has championed the TLA during his tenure and provided leadership for the coastal forest community during five very difficult years for the forest industry. Dave has effectively represented TLA members in many strategic areas including forest worker safety, forestry worker recruitment and education, the Forest Service Providers Protection Act, the HST debate, First Nations involvement in the TLA and, most recently, promoting provincial forest policies that will improve harvesting opportunities in the province of British Columbia. The TLA, with over 400 members, is a stronger association for his leadership. We wish Dave all the best.
