Founded in 1995 by a group of loggers, the Professional Logging Contractors (PLC) of Maine is a trade organization formed to give independent logging contractors and sole proprietors a voice in a rapidly changing forest industry. Our Board of Directors is made up entirely of loggers, making us a logging organization that is run by loggers for loggers. PLC is proud to be founding members of The American Logging Council, an organization that represents the professional logger on a national level.
