Background
British Columbia Institute of Technology in Vancouver, BC (Saw Filer Certificate; Circular Saw Filer Certificate; Benchman Certificate) Starting in 1978, Michel worked for Canadian Forest Products (Northwood) in Prince George, BC and later he became Head Filer with a crew of 12 filers. Since 1998, Michel has provided services to mills throughout the southeastern US; during the past year he managed the filing room and assisted in various mill operations at a new saw mill in Santa Cruz, Bolivia.

With over 35+ years of experience, his knowledge includes emergency services (troubleshooting), general sawmill operations, levelers, band saw, round saw, wheel grinding, mill alignments (traditional and laser), designing a band saw guide-grinding machine and a lube system for QUAD, welding and millwrighting. Michel is also skilled in thin kerf technology, Si-CAM, and workplace safety.
